Help create a comprehensive source of up-to-the-minute news and commentary on "Super Tuesday." The New England News Forum (NENF) has joined a national experiment to test creation of an instant news sharing network, asking its members, bloggers and supporters to contribute links about the Connecticut and Massachusetts primaries. From now through the end of the week, anyone can join the experiment by registering through the NENF:
"RSS feeds -- an open web system for sharing headlines, links and comments about topical websites -- is emerging as an easy way to find and spotlight otherwise obscure but valuable information in real time," says Bill Densmore, director/editor of the NENF. "We want to see if it works for a pre-planned news event like an election."
The NENF is co-ordinating a New England network of serious news folks -- MSM and online/blog/independent -- to use Publish2's online bookmarking tool to submit links to important news and posts leading up to and including Massachusetts and Connecticut "Super Tuesday" primaries. Publish2 will aggregate these links and create RSS feeds that you can then put on your site. Instant aggregation, without the fuss.
